ESG & Net Zero
Go Green!
Hortech’s founder and staff attended training and sessions regarding the decarbonization of different industries and obtained certifications. Hortech is introducing the green thinking and design thinking into its Hsinchu factory and precision laser processing processes. It not only utilizes low carbon materials, but also develops precision laser machines and critical industrial parts that require low energy. Furthermore, it attempts to optimize processes to reduce the dust, debris, and pollution. As it devotes itself to innovating green laser technologies, it aims to achieve Net Zero in 2050.
Hortech collaborated with Minth University of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering on carbon footprint verification to obtain ISO 14064-1. Hortech’s staff will be trained to reduce carbon emission and provide solid data regularly. Hortech is also working on lowering the carbon emission of its production lines holistically.
